The Department of Science Service held a meeting to discuss guidelines for linking the ST’I Single Search system with pilot agencies.

On Thursday, November 6, 2025, the Department of Science Service (DSS), through the Digital Science Service Institute, held the first meeting of 2025 on “Guidelines for Linking the ST&I Single Search System with Pilot Agencies” at the Institute’s meeting room in the Dr. Tua Lapanukrom Science Library Building, Department of Science Service. Representatives from key pilot agencies, including the Department of Industrial Promotion, the Office of Industrial Standards, and the Department of Mineral Resources, along with project consultants, system developers, and researchers, participated in the meeting.
The objective of this meeting was to foster a shared understanding of the guidelines for linking the information databases of various agencies to the central “ST&I Single Search” system, currently under development. The goal is to create a central channel for convenient, comprehensive, and secure access to national science, technology, and innovation information.
Key details considered included data structure, metadata, and protocols; technical approaches for system linkage; and the collaborative roles of each involved agency. Progress reports and future operational plans under the framework of the Science and Technology Information Coordination Center (STIC) network were also presented.
This meeting marks a significant step in driving the development of a national information system that promotes systematic access to scientific information, aligning with the government’s digital policy. And the management of data in a standardized and user-friendly manner for all target groups.
