November 17, 2025 – The Department of Science Service held the first meeting of the Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) website development working group for 2026, chaired by Dr. Phuwadee Toojinda, Director of the Digital Science Service Institute (DSS), at the Akramethi Meeting Room, 6th floor, Department of Science Service. Representatives from 30 organizations in the STI website development working group network participated in the meeting, which was also conducted online via Zoom to facilitate participation from network representatives nationwide. The meeting focused on discussing the development of the national science, technology, and innovation (STI) information center website, which will function as a “Sci Knowledge Hub” connecting knowledge from government and private sector organizations in a systematic, standardized, and accessible manner in one place under the ST&I Single Search (One-Stop Search for Science and Technology of Thailand).
During the meeting, Ms. Udomlak Wienngam, Director of the Dr. Tua Lapanukrom Science Library, from the working group’s secretariat, reported on the progress of the work to the meeting participants. To consider the framework for the development direction of the NSTDA website, all agencies jointly exchanged opinions on both content and technical aspects regarding the design of the website’s data structure and search system, as well as developing the website to be consistent with the Government Website Template 3.0. This is to ensure security, ease of access, and the needs of all user groups, which will enhance the potential for searching and accessing research and innovation in the country efficiently.
NSTDA and all network agencies are committed to pushing the central science and technology information website to become the country’s science and technology information infrastructure, supporting learning, research, industry, and policy making, as well as strengthening Thailand’s competitiveness under a stable and sustainable knowledge-based economy.
